As Far As My Fingertips Take Me unfolds as an encounter through a gallery wall between an audience member and a refugee. While their arms touch during this encounter, the two are unable to see each other. The way in which the refugee marks the audience is by drawing on their arms. This act compels the audience to listen to those subjects who have recently challenged border discrimination. The marking can be kept or washed away.
