About:
As Far As My Fingertips Take Me unfolds as an encounter through a gallery wall between an audience member and a refugee. While their fingertips touch during this encounter, the two are unable to see each other. The way in which the refugee marks the audience is by drawing on their arms, compelling them to listen to those subjects who have recently challenged border discrimination. The marking can be kept or washed away.

“His tale doesn’t just touch me in a fleeting way - as the many stories and images reported in the newspapers do - it goes further. It marks me.”
